Aura Pro · Getting started
Let’s get you comfortable.
Your first steps with Aura Pro: charge, find a comfortable fit, and start in a quiet room. Add Bluetooth for calls and audio whenever you’re ready.
A real person can walk you through it.
Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm ET.
Three steps to get started.
Charge them
Place both hearing aids in their dark charging case. Connect the case using the USB-C cable and power adapter supplied in the box.
Use your included Quick Guide or User Guide to check the charging lights and when they’re ready.
Find your fit
Choose from the soft ear tips in the box. Aim for a snug, comfortable fit: try smaller if a tip presses, or larger if it slips out.
Aura Pro rests behind your ear, with a thin wire leading to a soft tip in your ear canal. Follow the placement illustration in your User Guide.
Start quietly
Follow your Quick Guide to switch on and set a low, comfortable volume. Begin in a quiet room with one person speaking.
Aura Pro works without a phone. You can get comfortable with everyday listening before connecting Bluetooth.
Phone calls and audio, when you’re ready.
Bluetooth is optional. Aura Pro can help you hear without a phone connection.
- Have your phone and the Aura Pro User Guide nearby.
- Follow the guide’s instructions to put the hearing aids into pairing mode.
- Open your phone’s Bluetooth settings, then select the device name specified in your guide and follow the pairing prompts.
Need help finding the right device name or pairing controls? Call our support team and we’ll walk you through it.
Ease into your first days.
Start with short sessions in a quiet room. Take breaks and build up as you feel comfortable.
- Keep it simple: begin with a one-to-one conversation or a little TV.
- Adjust gently: keep the volume comfortable and give yourself time to get used to everyday sounds.
- Ask for help: if the fit or sound doesn’t feel right, our team can help you adjust it.
If your ear hurts or gets sore, take the hearing aid out and contact us before wearing it again.
Something not quite right?
I hear whistling
Check that the ear tip is seated as shown in your User Guide. Check for wax on the tip and sound opening and clean as directed. If the fit is loose, try a larger tip; lower the volume if needed. Contact us if whistling continues.
Everything sounds too loud
Lower the volume using your guide’s button instructions. Try a quieter room and a shorter listening session. If the sound is still uncomfortable, contact our team.
The hearing aids aren’t charging
Make sure the case is plugged in or charged. Wipe the metal charging contacts on the hearing aids and inside the case with a dry cloth, then place each aid securely in its slot. Check the charging indicators against your User Guide.
The ear tips feel uncomfortable
Try a smaller tip if it presses, or a larger tip if it slips out. Recheck the insertion illustration in your User Guide. If your ear hurts or gets sore, remove the hearing aid and contact us before wearing it again.
Bluetooth won’t connect
Turn your phone’s Bluetooth off and back on. Remove the hearing aids from the phone’s saved Bluetooth devices, then repeat the pairing procedure in your Aura Pro User Guide. Call us if they still won’t connect.
How do I clean and put them away?
Follow the cleaning and storage directions in your User Guide. Use the supplied cleaning tools as directed, and keep the charging contacts clean and dry. Ask our team for help with wax guards or anything you’re unsure about.
